Miller & Friend

Hi Everyone,

This is the first card I've made with my new Simply Betty Stamp - Miller and his cute little friend! It's actually going to be for my youngest Mitchell's 12th Birthday! I've used Kaiser Rewind Papers along with SU Barely Banana, Orange & Black Cardstock. My layout is this weeks Sketch Challenge from Cupcake Craft Challenge.

Miller has been coloured using Copic Markers. I have recycled the metal Happy Birthday embellishment from an old card which makes this card eligible for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge. I will also enter my card at Simon Says Stamp Challenge - You Gotta have Friends (even those with scales), Charisma Cardz Challenge - For the Boys and Stamp with Fun - Birthday Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by,

Greeting Farm Digi Fairy

Hi Everyone ~ hope your having a great weekend!

I have combined two challenges here the Anya Ink Challenge #3 - add some bling and since this challenge was sponsored by Bizzy Becs - I've used the layout from the Bizzy Becs Creatalicious Challenge #11 and added some sewing as requested!

I have coloured the Greeting Farm Digi Stamp with Copics and added a lot of bling with some Copic Spica Pens. The bling continues with Pebbles Glitter Candy Dots, a Gem Flourish and more bling in the centre of the flowers that I made with Dies from the matching Pink Pattern Paper! I think I've got more bling than Paris Hilton!!

Hip Hip Hooray!!!

Hi Everyone,

This card was created using the Just Magnolia Challenge Sketch. I also wanted to use embossing to enter the Magnolia Down Under Challenge this week. I have used the Cuttlebug Rose Embossing Folder on the Pink and White Cardstock. On the White Cardstock I have brayered pink ink over the embossing and on the Pink Cardstock I have brayered Versamark over the roses and sprinkled them with Seafoam White Embossing Powder and Heat Embossed them.

Gloria the Hippo is by Magnolia (of course!) and has been coloured with Copics. It is quite hard to see in the pic but she is wearing some pale pink blush. The photo doesn't really do her justice as she came up better IRL. The sentiment was computer generated in Comic Sans Font. I will also enter this card at Crazy for Challenges - Paper Flowers challenge and over at Allsorts Challenge the theme this week is embossing.

Stamps: Magnolia - Gloria the Hippo
Inks: Copics, Memento Tuxedo Black & SU Pink Pirourette

Paper: Pink & White Cardstock

Tools: Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Roses, Spellbinder Nestabilities Small Circle,  MS Latticeand Leaf Punches,  Computer and Heat Gun

Embellishments: Ribbon, Stickles, Foam Dots, Flowers and Pearls

WOW - Amazing News!!!

Hi Everyone,

Some of you may remember this card - it was my entry to the Australia Copic Card Challenge that was drawn at the Brisbane Scrapbook Expo that I've just attended with my friends Deb C and Deb L.

I've just had some wonderful news - I won second prize with this card (Copic Goodies worth $90 YAY!!) but the best news is that my friend Deb C won first prize Woo Hoo!! (Copic Goodies worth $270).

Deb was in such a hurry to post her card that when I bumped into her at the post office she said she didn't have time to take a photo for her blog! She did however take a pic at the Expo and you can see her fabulous card here.

We are both still stunned... thank you Copic Australia!

Hope you are all having a fabulous weekend,

Hello

Hi Everyone,

So very sorry for the lack of posts recently. Working fulltime only allows me to make cards on the weekend (in most cases) and I was away on this weekend at the Brisbane Scrapbooking and Craft Expo. My friends Deb C, Deb L & I spent the weekend in Brisbane taking some classes and shopping :)

I was fortunate to attend the Copic class by Mandi-Lee, which was great and I've learnt a few new tricks too! I also met Kathy Jones (aka Wattle SCS) of Inspired to Stamp fame who's blog I've been following for some time. So great to meet some fellow bloggers in real life!

I have been a very lucky stamper lately winning the Simon Says Stamp Challenge last week and also some candy from Jacque recently...looking forward to seeing the mailman soon!

My most exciting news though is that I'm one of the new DT's at the Colour Create Challenge and I'm sooo excited to be in the company of such talented ladies! I will be posting my first DT Card tomorrow so I hope you'll stop by.

Have a Great Day,

Lil Lolita - Willow

Good Morning Everyone - I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

This is my entry for the Tickled Pink Monthly Challenge - this month Kellie provided a sketch for us to follow. My papers are from the Kaiser "Tea at Elsie's" range and I've team it with Groovy Guava Cardstock. The panels have been inked and sewn to the card and I've used a Groovy Guava ReInker to colour my lace before adding it to the card. I've used a nestabilities die popped up on foam in the centre and sponged it before removing the die to create a border.

The stamp I've used is Willow from the Lil Lolita Range exclusive to Tinked Pink Stamps. She has been coloured with copics and I've cut her out and placed her on a thin layer of foam dots. I've also used some dimensional magic on the flowers.

The flowers I've used to embellish are from Wild Orchid and the Pearl sprays are from Bizzy Becs. Everything else came from my stash of goodies.

I will also enter the card in the Charisma Cardz Challenge - Flowers.

Thanks for stopping by,

One Cool Dude

Happy Thursday Everyone,

Just a quick post to get my card in for the first revamped I Love Anya Ink Challenge. This first challenge was to create an Easel card. I have recently purchase this "Ian" stamp so thought I'd ink him up and enter the challenge.

My card is Riding Hood Red, Blue Bayou and Summer Sun cardstock and the pattern paper is from the Cosmo Cricket "My Boyfriend" paper pad. Some great boy papers in that one. The ribbon is from SU and the buttons were from my stash.

My problem was not wanting to cover this pattern paper with the pencils so I've tried something new and added Kaiser Rub Ons for a graffiti look - that way the paper is visible.

Just a simple boy card - I will also enter it over at the Simon Says Stamp challenge which wanted a male card and Charisma Cardz - Going Round In Circles Challenge (edit - oops too late!).

Thanks for stopping by,

Are you my Prince?

Happy Wednesday Everyone,

This card was made using this weeks Friday Sketchers Challenge Layout. I have used White and Aqua Carstock along with Kaiser Pattern Paper and zig zag stitched the pattern panels to the card. Tilda is coloured with copics and I have added a touch (or more than a touch!) of Diamond Stickles to her wings before placing her on foam dots. The doily was dyed with SU Soft Sky Ink before being sponged with water and dried to give a subtle colour. The ribbon, heart charm, gems, button brads and flowers are from my stash.

I will enter this card in the following challenges:-

Colour Create - Soft Green and Light Aqua
Simon Says Stamp - Pink or Blue with Green and Brown
Stampin for the Weekend - A card to make somebody smile
Secret Crafter - Buttons and Blooms

I'm also sending this card off to Jayme as a RAK request by her sister Lisa from Polycraft. Lisa wrote the following :-

I am having a special event for my sister Jayme. She is in her early 50's and has terminal lung cancer. To make it worse, her sweet dachshund Molly passed away a couple weeks ago. Today we learned her cancer has spread to several other areas and her time is running out. I am asking for all my card making friends to send her a fun card...not really get well cards obviously, but something pretty or funny that will make her smile. She is a frog collector so frog cards would be awesome! I have been blessed by all those I design for to have a wonderful offer of blog candy.

You can find out more here at Lisa's blog.

Thanks for stopping by.
