Sharon would like you to choose three fabulous fruit colours from this yummy pic and the optional extra??? a little fruit of course.

The Colour Create DT have also been joined by the High Hopes Designers this week so make sure you stop by and check out all the fabulous card that you have for inspiration!

Anyway onto my card, I've chosen Watermelon Pink, Cherry Red and Kiwi Green. My fruity optional extras are that I've used Cherry Tilda for my image, some cherry pattern paper from Stampin Up (except the pokla dot paper which is from October Afternoon) and these cute little Cherry Charms that I found at Creations in Paper.

Tilda is coloured with copics and I've experimented a little with the airbrush in the background. The jute string, gingham ribbon, button, pearls and cherry blossom flowers were all in my stash.

I've used the sketch this week from Friday Sketchers Challenge and will enter my card there too. Over at Crafty Emma's (CES) Challenge the challenge is spots and stripes and the Fussy and Fancy Challenge wouldlike to see something edible on our cards.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll join us at Colour Create for our Fun Fruity Challenge!

Magnolia Down Under - Get Distressed!!!

 Good Morning Everyone,

The DT over at Magnolia Down Under are asking everyone to try some distressing on their card this week! We are have been sponsored this week by Kellie at Tickled Pink Stamps, so our lucky winner will be receiving the King Tilda Stamp from the new "So Special Collection".

I've chosen to work with Tilda with Ribbon this week and my papers are also from Magnolia with a little Pink Spotted Bazzill and White cardstock. Tilda is coloured with copics and mounted on foam dots onto the Nestabilities oval and scalloped oval dies.

I've distress all the paper edges with my distressing tool and added at little Antique Linen Distress Ink to highlight this and I've also slightly torn one corner. My flowers (Wild Orchid Crafts and Magnolia) have also been distressed with the Antique Linen Ink and Stickles and the Heather Stems were white and have been sprayed with Sand Glimmermist. All panels are sewn and some lace and pearls finish off the card.

I'd also like to enter my card in these challenges:-

Crazy 4 Challenges - Use a dies on your cards
ABC Challenges - O is for Old Fashioned
Papertake Weekly - Putting on the Glitz (Flowers)

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the cards by the rest of the DT - they look amazing as always!

Creatalicious with Kenny K

Good Morning Everyone!

This is my card for the latest Bizzy Becs Creatalicious Challenge. We are very fortunate to be sponsored by Kenny K this month and the image I chose to work with is called Cheyenne. The challenge this month is to use create a masculine card using the colour brown and 3 stars. Kenny K are offering the winner a $25 voucher to spend, so be sure to join us for a chance to win!

I coloured my image with copics and used some very old SU papers that I found in the bottom of my cupboard that I thought would be perfect with this image. This is also the first time I've incorporated a little recycled cardboard on my card too.

The metal sentiment is one that I've had for years and I've finally used it! The jute ribbon is from Bizzy Becs of course! It's great for male cards, a little more manln than your normal ribbon and you can find it here.
The star brads are from Creations in Paper who have recently moved from Montville to Maroochydore.

I'd like to enter my card into these challenges:-

Our Creative Corner - Cut it Out - I've partially cut out my image.
Charisma Cardz Challenge - Mythical/Fantasy - No expanation needed :)

Challenge to use Ribbon or Jute in two ways, add a button and one heart element. (Heart Tattoo)

Colour Create - Strawberry, Chocolate and Cream

Good Afternoon Everyone,

This is my DT card for the latest Colour Create Challenge. We have a wonderful colour combination for you chosen by our fabulous DT Mina - Strawberry, Chocolate and Cream, I know it sounds good enough to eat! And this is the yummy picture she has chosen to tease us with:-

Yes I know, I think I'll probably put on weight just looking at it! Mina's optional extra is ribbon - which unfortuately I've forgotten :(  In my haste to get my card made I thought it was Strawberry as in pink, so had to start again.  We are very fortunate once again to be sponsored by Michelle's Scrapbooking & More for this challenge. Michelle's are the manufacturer and sole distributor of  Pixie Cottage Stamps and she is offering our challenge winner a stamp called "At the corner of". So I'll hope you'll join us for a chance to win :)

The pattern paper I chose for the card is Basic Grey Curio and I've teamed it with Red and Brown Bazzill and Cream Bazzill Bling. I've had this lace forever and have been waiting for the opportunity to team it with the EK Sucess scallop punch.  My image is by Wild Rose Studio and I've paper pieced her dress in the matching paper and added foam dots under the frills to give is a lift. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I'd like to enter my card into these challenges:-

Creative Card Crew - For a Loved One (My Niece)
CES Challenge - Red & Romance

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the fabulous creations by the DT over at Colour Create!

Robbie's Birthday

Good Morning Everyone!

This is the card I made for my friend Robyn who celebrated her birthday recently. Robbie has a blue VW Bug so when I saw this stamp belonging to another one of my friends Deb, I knew I just had to beg, borrow or steal it :) for Robbie's card.

The papers I've used are Basic Grey and I'm entering my card into the current Basic Grey - Flower Power Challenge.  I've also used Green Bazzill for my card and matted the pattern paper with Not Quite Navy and Blue Bayou cardstock. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the cute little VW charm was from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by,
