Colour Create Purple, Greeen and Cream

Time for another Colour Create Challenge and this week our colours have been chosen by our amazingly talented DT Julie! Julie has chosen Deep Purple, Bright Green and Cream and this is the gorgeous picture she's chosen to inspire us with:-

Our prize for the winner this challenge will be a chance to be Guest Designer at Colour Create.

I've chosen to use some very old Claire's Cottage papers that I've had for ages but were the perfect colour combination for the challenge. My nestie die is from MFT and my butterfly punch is by Martha Stewart.
The flowers are a combination of Wild Orchid Crafts and Magnolia and I've used one of my older Magnolia Images from a 2008 collection Tilda with Lilacs.

Tilda has been coloured with copics and has a touch of stickles on her wings.

I'd also like to enter my card into these challenges:-
Totally Tilda Challenge - Tilda with Bunch of Flowers
Simply Magnolia Challenge - Punches, Dies and Ribbon

Thanks for stopping by today, I appreciate your visit :)

Magnolia Down Under - Old Treasures

Good Morning All,

Time for another challenge at Magnolia Down Under and this week we've been busy finding and using some "Old Treasures".

I kept the tag off of my new jeans that I bought some months ago as it just looked to useful to throw away and I thought it would work on a masculine card, particularly with this Cool Edwin image!

Here's a pic of the front of the tag (sorry the light wasn't great)

and the back

This week we are joined by our regular sponsor Tilda's Town who are offering this wonderful prize for our challenge winner:-

I recently purchased the Spellbinders Grand Calibur machine and I've been so pleased with it as it's giving me so many more options with shaped cards.

I've coloured Edwin with copics, the sentiment tag is a MFT die, the papers are from My Minds Eye and all other goodies come from my stash.

I'd like to enter my card in these challenges:-
Cute Card Thursday - Birthday or Celebration
Allsorts Challenge - Three in a Row

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the other creations over at Magnolia Down Under, as ususal the DT have created some beautiful cards!

Colour Create - Pink, Blue, Sage Green and White/Cream

Time for another Colour Create Challenge and this week the colours Pink, Blue, Green and Cream/White have been chosen by our lovely DT Sharon T who has also chosen the optional extra of paper tearing.

Here is the pretty inspirational pic that Sharon has chosen:-

I love using pink and blue together and the paper tearing was definately a challenge as I haven't attempted this for some time! As well has tearing my paper I've decided to tear some corrugated card for a bit more of an effect. I'm still not sure how I feel about this card... it just didn't seem to come together for me.

Tilda is coloured with copics and placed on some foam dots, my two sided pink and green ribbon was from my stash as was the lace and flowers.

I hope you'll join the challenge and be sure to stop by the Colour Create blog and check out the beautiful creations by the rest of the team.

Magnolia Down Under - Buttons & Bows

Good Morning All,

Time for our next Magnolia Down Under Challenge which this week is Buttons & Bows! Our sponsor this week is the lovely Bron from Shopbrown who has generously donated two Magnolia Stamps as a prize for our lucky winner.

My card this week is a little larger than the 5.5"square card I usually prefer to make  as I had to fit Tilda's Summer Car onto the card.

Tilda has been coloured with copics and I've added a touch of dimensional magic to some parts of the car. All my embellishments are my my stash and the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and Magnolia.

I'd like to enter my card in these challenges:-

CES Challenge - Flower Frenzy
Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Punches Challenge
Just Magnolia - Anything Goes with Stitching

Thanks for stopping by, I must apologise for not getting around to visiting anyone this week but my workplace office was flooded last Friday and we had half a metre of water through the office. After working all last weekend and this week cleaning up I'm really looking forward to the weekend. It's my husband's birthday tomorrow and I've had to buy him a card... oh dear!
